On a warm sunny day, a thirsty ant set out to find the river and quench its thirst with some cool water. The ant, feeling parched, exclaimed, "I'm so thirsty! Where is the river? I must go down there to drink."
Halfway through its journey, the ant accidentally slipped and fell into the river. Panic-stricken, it cried out for help, "Help! Help! Help me! I'm being carried away! The flow of the river is too strong for me. Anyone, help me, please! Please help me!"
From afar, a compassionate dove witnessed the ant's perilous situation and knew it had to act quickly. The dove thought smartly and plucked some leaves from a nearby tree. It then called out to the ant, "Hurry, little ant! Climb onto that leaf fast!"
The ant, desperate for salvation, climbed onto the leaf and reached the safety of the shore, thanks to the dove's quick thinking and assistance.
However, their ordeal was not yet over. As the ant caught its breath and surveyed the surroundings, it spotted a hunter lurking behind a tree, preparing to shoot the gentle dove. Alarmed, the ant realized it had to save its newfound friend.
Without hesitation, the ant sprang into action, diverting the hunter's attention by making noise and drawing the hunter away from the dove. The dove, hearing the commotion, flew away to a safe place, narrowly escaping harm.
The ant, while injured and in pain from the hunter's attack, was grateful for the dove's safety. The dove expressed its gratitude, saying, "I might have died, but you luckily saved me with your idea. Thank you, thank you, my dear friend!"
The ant humbly replied, "You are most welcome, friend. I'm happy that I could save your life.
Dear kids, this story teaches us an important moral: "As you sow, so you reap." By doing good for others, we can expect kindness and help in return. Just like the ant and the dove, let us remember the power of kindness and extend a helping hand to those in need.
